White Opal in Los Altos is a custom new home that embodies contemporary design and technical rigor. The design language is contemporary throughout the house. Pearl color exterior cultured stone will complement the softer cedarwood finishes and accents.
The open, grand feel continues inside. You will enter into a grand 16-foot high foyer with lots of light, floor to floor-to-ceiling windows. A floating staircase with a glass railing takes you to the second floor, which sports its own terrace attached to the bedroom, again with glass railings. A Great Room with a beautiful high ceiling, a fun double-sided fireplace, has a gorgeous folding glass wall system to connect with the backyard outdoor living. The kitchen will be very spacious, walk-in pantry and a large 10-foot island for the family to sit around. A lot of light filters into all rooms from the higher ceilings. The master suite and two bedrooms, along with a home office, all have spacious bathrooms and closets, all connect to the outdoors generously.

The New White Opal Los Altos California was conceived around its lot, views, and microclimate. Massing and fenestration were arranged to capture morning light while preserving privacy. Exterior materials and proportions reference local context while affirming a contemporary language. Unlike speculative tract builds, White Opal’s design prioritizes site-specific answers and a cohesive architectural idea throughout the house.
Construction Quality & Material Choices
High standards of construction defined the White Opal project: durable exterior claddings, carefully detailed windows, and refined interior finishes. Structural systems were selected for longevity and serviceability. The integrated design-build approach allowed early procurement of quality materials and close coordination with craftsmen. Unlike cookie-cutter new builds, this custom home features bespoke details and long-lasting assemblies.
